Mr. L.J. Lamb presented "The Art of Effective Evaluation" from the success communication advanced workhop series. Combing his years of observation and training experience, Mr. L.J. Lamb pinpointed our common bad habits and offered useful tips on evaluation.

Download Bulletin | Thanks to Kaku (Innovative President, the second person from left in the front line on the photo)'s roses for upcoming Chinese Valentine's Day. The joint meeting held by two Toastmasters clubs on 8/5 was a successful meeting to all participants.
It's interesting that when Lynn (standing at the very right side of the photo), prepared speaker from Innovative TMC, presented a wonderful speech "Put Fun into Learning" that encouraged everyone to "learning by seeing," and she made lots of vivid descriptions of Taiwan sights. June, president of U-SWOT TMC delivered the speech "One World, One Dream" that took audiences into the world of coming Olympics in Beijing. That really reminded me, how we love our motherland, and we should open our mind to explore this vary world. Continuous learning and practicing delivery speeches in English, success communication is just a little step away!

Meet new friends in our regular meeting with members form Innovative, also PECL and ALE Ladder!
- 8/20 (Wed.) Evaluation Workshop by Mr. L.J. Lamb
President of World Mosaic Toastmasters Club, champion of 2005 Evaluation Contest
will give us a workshop on "The Art of Effective Evaluation" from Success/Communication Series
- 9/03 (Wed.) In-house Evaluation Contest
We will host a in-house speech contest and the winer will represent U-SWOT TMC to compete in Area Contest.
A specila guess Mr. Andreas Ouyang will come and observe our meeting and "give evaluations with 70% education and 30% humor."

Wednesday, July 16, U-SWOT TMC held the most important annual event. Officers of 2008-2009 team were charged with their duties to make this meaningful club grow and become stronger than ever before.
"The mission of Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth." And as the president June just promised: "Yes, I will." There is no doubt that U-SWOT TMC will make it's glory to becoming a distinguished club!
